About TJ's Lowlines
TJ Stenger raises quality Lowlines, Tarentaise, and Composite Beef Cattle consisting of Lowlines, Tarentaise, Angus, Red Angus, Shorthorn and Charolais cattle. His family has been raising cattle, livestock and producing grain in western Kentucky for 200 years. Most of the fullblood Lowlines in TJ's herd were imported directly from Australia and are outcrosses to most of the other Lowlines in North America. TJ bred and raised the a Grand Champion Lowline Bull and the Reserve Calf Champion Lowline Heifer at Kansas City, the first time his Lowline cattle had ever competed in a Lowline show. TJ is a member of the ALR and he is also a member of the newly formed Eastern Lowline Angus Association (ELAA), serving as the interim President for the ELAA. TJ is also the chairman of the new NAILE Lowline Show which will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 1 pm (eastern time), in Louisville, KY. The North American Livestock Expo in Louisville, KY, is the largest purebred Livestock show in North America.
TJ currently resides just outside of Morganfield, which is located in north-western Kentucky, about 40 miles west of Evansville, IN. TJ lives about an hour from 1-24, I-164, I-64, and 4 different four lane parkways, one of which is the planned future route of I-69. He also lives within 2.5 hours of Nashville, St Louis and Louisville and lives within 6 hours of Lexington, KY, Huntington, WV, Columbus, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Colombia, MO, Kansas City, MO, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Tupelo, MS, Birmingham, AL, Indianapolis, IN, Terre Haute, IN, Champagne, IL, Peoria, IL, Memphis, TN, Knoxville, TN, and Chattanooga, TN.
